Notre histoires

Au cas où vous ne connaissiez pas le mot, un “Eddy” se traduit par « tourbillon » – un mouvement circulaire naturel de l’eau – à contre-courant du courant principal, qui perturbe le flux régulier – comme un petit tourbillon. Cette perturbation décrit parfaitement notre vision chez Eddy – perturber la façon dont l’eau est comprise et gérée, d’où notre nom !

Dès nos débuts, nous nous sommes engagés à comprendre l’utilisation, la consommation et le débit de l’eau, et à aider nos clients à contrôler leur situation en matière d’eau. Grâce à nos technologies intelligentes innovantes, nous continuons à développer et à étendre notre gamme de produits pour aider tous types de clients. Nous avons commencé comme une petite start-up en concentrant notre première attention sur les propriétaires intéressés par le contrôle de leur eau et avons rapidement élargi nos solutions pour aider à protéger tous types de propriétés.

Président directeur général

Sajid Khan a contribué au lancement d’Eddy Solutions et occupe le poste de directeur de l’exploitation depuis sa création. Avec plus de 20 ans de direction et d’expérience opérationnelle dans le secteur des services à domicile, Saj a occupé des postes tels que directeur de l’exploitation d’Eco Energy Service, vice-président des opérations chez National Home Services et Universal Energy, ainsi que des postes de direction chez Direct Energy. Il possède une vaste expérience dans la création et la direction de réseaux et d’équipes d’installation et d’autres services opérationnels tels que les centres d’appels, la facturation, le traitement et la gestion des changements.

Avec plus de 25 ans d’expérience financière dans des rôles de directeur financier d’entreprises  publiques et privées, Boris a rejoint Eddy Solutions en tant que directeur financier. Il a pris en charge deux premiers appels publics à l’épargne (PAPE), des levées de capitaux d’emprunt et de capitaux propres et des opérations de fusions et acquisitions. Boris était jusqu’à tout récemment directeur financier chez Firm Capital Mortgage Investment Corporation (TSX : FC). Diplômé de l’Université York, il détient les titres de CPA et de CA.

Vice-présidente exécutif des ventes, du marketing et du développement commercial

June rejoint l’équipe d’Eddy venant d’Enercare après plus de 10 ans dans divers rôles, plus récemment en tant que vice-présidente de la division nord-américaine des constructeurs. June travaille dans l’industrie du CVC depuis plus de 41 ans, occupant plusieurs postes tout au long de sa carrière, de technicienne à agente des infractions provinciales. June est technicienne en gaz agréée, technicienne en brûleurs à mazout, mécanicienne pétrolière, technicienne en géothermie, technicienne solaire, mécanicienne en réfrigération, conceptrice mécanique et de nombreuses autres certifications.

Elliott Samuel dirige nos efforts PropTech, travaillant avec les parties prenantes de l’immobilier à différentes étapes du cycle de vie des actifs pour évaluer les défis et les risques d’infrastructure associés aux dégâts des eaux dans l’environnement bâti. Ceci afin d’établir des solutions basées sur les données qui protègent contre ces risques. Ses 14 années d’expérience en affaires comprennent une vaste expérience dans la restauration, le développement et l’exécution des ventes, le développement des affaires et la stratégie de gestion.

Passionnée par la conception et la mise en œuvre de stratégies de mise sur le marché Shkya a passé plus de 15 ans dans le secteur des services de maison et de bâtiment. Shkya est avec Eddy depuis sa création, travaillant avec des compagnies d’assurance, des courtiers et des constructeurs partout au Canada et aux États-Unis.

Daniel Malkin, Field Operations Manager

Responsable des opérations terrain

Daniel Malkin travaille dans le domaine du M&E et de la construction depuis 10 ans. Son expérience comprend des centaines d’installations directes pour des maisons unifamiliales, des immeubles résidentiels à logements multiples, commerciaux et de vente au détail. Daniel a travaillé sur des programmes municipaux. Dans son travail, Daniel se concentre sur le dépannage technique et la formation des partenaires d’installation. Il fait preuve d’un haut degré de passion et d’enthousiasme qui inspire à la fois les clients et l’équipe d’Eddy.

Glen Myrland, Director of Data and Technology

Glen Myrland

Directeur des données et de la technologie

Avec une vaste expertise qui couvre l’analyse de données, l’apprentissage automatique, l’automatisation et le développement de logiciels personnalisés, Glen se spécialise également dans l’investigation médico-légale des défaillances mécaniques, l’analyse des causes profondes et la détection des anomalies à l’aide de grands ensembles de données du monde réel. Glen a suivi une formation en analyse de données, mégadonnées et analyse prédictive de l’Université Ryerson et détient un B.A.Sc. en génie mécanique de l’Université de Waterloo.

With a passion for designing and delivering go-to-market strategies, Shkya has spent more than 15 years in the home and building services sector. Shkya has been with Eddy since inception, working with Insurance companies, brokers, and constructors throughout Canada and the US.

Adam Bartman
Executive VP of Operations
Adam, a second generation Red Seal Master plumber & Gas II Certified technician, began his career working alongside his father at a very early age. He then spent 15 years growing and operating a large mechanical outfit, managing hundreds of Highrise buildings throughout Toronto & the GTA.  Utilizing his plumbing experience and passion for technology, he co-founded reed water to help include technology into the antiquated systems they serviced and propel them into the 21st century. This helped their customers obtain building insights, mitigate water damage and conserve water.  Adam joins Eddy Solutions as part of the reed water acquisition, to expand the Field Operations, Engineering & Project Delivery teams.

With more than 25 years of financial experience, Boris has held both public and private company CFO roles; supported two (TSX listed) initial public offerings (IPOs), debt and equity capital raises, and M&A transactions. Boris graduated from York University and is a CPA, CA.

Elliott Samuel

VP of Sales & PropTech ​

Elliott Samuel leads our PropTech efforts, working with real estate stakeholders at various stages of the asset lifecycle to assess infrastructure challenges and risks associated with water damage in the built environment, to establish data-driven solutions that protect against these risks. His 14 years of business experience includes extensive experience in restoration, developing, and executing sales, business development, and management strategy.

Avi Yurman

With more than 15 years of leadership in the audio-visual production sector, Avi co-founded two companies, most recently Head of Product at reed water. Avi has extensive experience building a hardware/software products and business strategy. Avi joins Eddy Solutions as part of the reed water acquisition to continue building the products, optimizing operations and directing strategy.
Avishai Moscovich​
VP of Marketing & Business Development​
Avishai is a B2B tech marketing expert with 15 years of experience in consulting engineering and corporate innovation roles. Avishai joins Eddy Solutions as part of the reed water acquisition where he built the company’s sales, brand strategy, demand generation and customer acquisition strategy. Previously, Avishai was the Global Marketing Manager at Armstrong Fluid Technologies, and an Innovation Manager at Just Energy Group.
Glen Myrland​
Director of Data & Technology​

With extensive expertise that spans data analytics, machine learning, automation, and custom software development, Glen also specializes in forensic investigation of mechanical failures, root cause analysis, and anomaly detection using large real-world datasets. Glen has trained in Data Analytics, Big Data, and Predictive Analytics from Ryerson University and has a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Daniel Malkin has been working in M&E and construction for the last 10 years. His experience includes hundreds of direct installations for single family homes, multi unit residential, commercial and retail buildings. Daniel has worked on municipal driven programs. In his work, Daniel is focused on technical troubleshooting and installation partner training. He brings forth a high degree of passion and enthusiasm that inspires both clients and Eddy’s team alike.

Mark Silver​

Mark L. Silver is President of Optus Capital Corporation. Mr. Silver has made significant real estate investments in both development stage and income producing properties in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors over his 35 year business career. Over the last 22 years, these investments have been made through his company, Optus Capital Corporation. Mr. Silver was a founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of Universal Energy which was sold in 2009 to Just Energy Group Inc. He co-founded Direct Energy Marketing and grew the company to over $1.3 billion in revenues before selling to Centrica PLC (also known as British Gas) in 2000.

Paul Pathak​

Paul Pathak is a partner of Chitiz Pathak LLP. Paul practices principally in the areas of corporate, securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and commercial law. He represents and provides sophisticated guidance to private and public corporate clients in a broad range of industries, including mining, technology, manufacturing, venture capital and merchant banking.

George Krieser​

Director

George Krieser founded Total Credit Recovery Limited (« TCR ») in 1980 and is the President and Chief Executive Officer. TCR is the largest 100% Canadian-owned and operated collection agency, solely collecting Canadian debt. George previously served as a Director of Universal Energy. He also served as a member of the board of directors of Baycrest Foundation and as a member of the fundraising committee for UJA Federation of Greater Toronto.
Gary Goodman​

Gary Goodman is a Trustee and Chair of the Audit & Risk committee of Boardwalk Real Estate Investment Trust., a former Chairman of Huntingdon Capital Corp., trustee of Gazit America & Brightpath Early Learning, and is a member of the advisory boards of the Vision Funds. Gary was previously Executive Vice President of Reichmann International where he served as a senior financial executive and trusted advisor for over 30 years.

Chris Gower

Director

Chris Gower started his career in construction on the tools – framing houses, where he grew a deep appreciation for the trades. Prior to his current role as Chief Operating Officer, Buildings at PCL Construction (« PCL »), Chris held positions including construction risk manager, senior project manager, district manager and regional vice president. Throughout his more than 25 years at PCL, he has delivered iconic construction projects across Canada, Australia and the United States.
