Role: Customer Service Representative

What do you do at our company?

Customer service representative – I assist customers with their product & program questions. I also provide support to other departments in the company, i.e. Finance and Operations team, where my assistance may be needed. I focus more on billing, collections & technician schedule assistance. I am also part of the Joint Health and Safety Committee as a worker representative.

Where did you grow up, and what were you like as a kid?

I grew up in a little town in Philippines called Inopacan, Leyte. I was a relatively independent and outdoorsy kid. I started taking the bus to school on my own at 7 y.o. and loved swimming or hiking with friends.

What career path did you almost take?

Medicine

What food or drink is always at your desk?

Black coffee & some biscuit

Describe your typical day at Eddy.

Starts with sorting email into my “Task folder” and responding to emails according to priority. Once I’ve addressed priority emails, I proceed to calling customers for Collection/Billing purposes. In between, I take incoming calls, call outbound for Control Room alerts and respond to internal emails as well as emails from customers.

What’s your productivity hack?

A systematic folder where files/tasks can be sorted out. I have a “Task Folder” where I move requests/tasks I have for the day. Once I complete it, I move those items into my “Completed Folders”. This makes it easier to find files and allows me to triage which items I should action first. 🙂

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

With another representative’s support, I made a Collections Manual for Eddy Solutions under Venky and Shkya’s leadership.

What has been your favorite customer call so far?

A customer located a leak from their sprinkler which they didn’t realize until the meter kept sending alerts. The customer walked through the house as I was assisting in providing real time water usage. The leak was eventually found outside. The sprinkler was leaking so much that there was constant water flow from their front lawn to the sidewalk.

What’s the most used app on your phone?

Canva.

What’s a fun fact about you that many people may not know?

I love the Korean culture so much that my nickname is also “Kimmi” which is short for Kimchi. I also enjoy learning new languages (e.g. Latin, French & Hanggul or Korean).

If you were given a one-minute ad slot during the Super Bowl, what would you fill it with?

An ad for my small biz, Leteña Café.

Where can we follow you?
