Eddy Solutions is excited to be part of the 160 Front Street West project in Toronto’s Financial District, a collaboration with PCL Construction that showcases innovative construction and sustainable design.
This 46-story office tower is not just a visual marvel; its architectural design serves functional purposes as well. The tower’s unique shape, tapered at both the top and bottom, is more than an aesthetic choice but also significantly enhances the building’s wind resistance, while the tapered base minimizes the structure’s impact on the surrounding pedestrian spaces.
Incorporating sustainable practices is at the core of this project. Eddy Solutions’ advanced sensor technologies have been instrumental in enhancing construction efficiency. These technologies play a crucial role in reducing project timelines and costs, while also focusing on environmental sustainability.
In line with LEED® Platinum and WELL Building Standards, and in partnership with Cadillac Fairview, the project is a testament to our partners’ commitment to sustainable development and sustainable practices in property management and operations.
The development, offering 1.2 million square feet of office space and over 12,000 square feet of retail space, is a significant addition to Toronto’s urban landscape and represents the future of sustainable urban development.
