On the afternoon of January 16, 2024, Eddy Solutions’ state-of-the-art water detection technology was pivotal in preventing a significant water crisis at Tower B of The Thornhill.
Rapid Response Timeline:
– At 4:37 PM EST, our sensor detected abnormal water flow in Heat Exchange Unit on level 4.
– Further alerts at 4:39 PM and 4:44 PM EST indicated additional issues on level 4.
– Property Manager was promptly informed and swiftly arranged an on-site inspection.
– A major leak was confirmed originating from a fan coil near the 4th floor’s heat exchange unit, impacting several units down to a unit on level 2.
The timely shutdown of the water riser for the affected units was crucial in effectively containing the situation. Eddy Solutions’ early warning system efficiently located and addressed the leak, preventing it from leading to widespread mold growth and further water damage.
