Do you still think that wood construction is less safe than other materials? Think again.
A recent study published in the Fire Technology Journal debunks the myth of unsafe wood construction.
The research analyzed nearly 14,000 apartment fires in Canada and found that protective systems such as smoke alarms and sprinklers meant the type of construction material used did not affect fire severity.
This challenges the traditional perception that wood is less safe than non-combustible materials such as concrete or steel. Want to learn more about this exciting development in sustainable and cost-effective building materials?
