Recently, Eddy Solutions helped prevent a potential disaster at JEMM Properties LP The Bridge in Calgary, where our sensors detected a water alert in the laundry room of Unit 505, which was supposed to be vacant.
This alert was incredibly concerning as no appliances should have been running in the empty unit, indicating a potential water leak or another issue that must be addressed promptly.
Undetected water leaks in vacant units can lead to extensive damage, such as structural deterioration, mold growth, and costly repairs. They can also negatively impact neighbouring units, causing inconvenience and potential health hazards for residents.
Upon receiving the alert, our 24/7 monitoring centre alerted the customer. They discovered a significant amount of water in units 405 and 406, suggesting that the water had originated from Unit 505.
Thanks to the Eddy Solutions system, the customer was able to detect the problem and take immediate action. The prompt response helped prevent further damage and safeguard the building’s integrity, demonstrating the value of our water management system.
