Eddy Solutions
Control · automatic and remote shutoff

Stop the water, not just flag it.

When a high-risk event fires, Eddy can close the valve. Automatically on rules you set, or remotely from the app or the monitoring center. Isolation is configured per building, per zone and per time of day.

Motorized Eddy shutoff valve on a building water main

Two ways to stop the water

Shutoff that fits the building, not the other way around.

The difference between a small cleanup and a six-figure restoration is almost entirely a matter of time. Control closes that gap, on terms each building sets.

  • Automatic shutoff

Eddy IQ combines the meter and valve in one unit for smaller lines. For larger lines, Eddy Link drives a motorized shutoff valve, and Eddy supplies and fits one where the building has none. Either closes the moment a configured rule fires, even with no one on site.

  • Remote shutoff

An operator in the monitoring center, or your own team from the My Eddy app, can close or reopen any valve on demand from anywhere.

  • Configured, not blunt

Main, domestic zone, riser and heating lines can each carry their own rule. Alert-only during work hours, automatic isolation after hours. Some sites prefer human-coordinated isolation, and fire and sprinkler lines are excluded by design.

Built onto the building you have

Works with your infrastructure, adds what is missing.

Control drives a building's existing motorized valves where it can, and where a line has no shutoff, Eddy fits the right valve for it. From there it keeps working through an outage and documents every action for the people who underwrite the risk.

    Shutoff sized to your lines

Eddy Link drives motorized shutoff valves up to 18 inches, including Eddy's own NSF61-rated valves for potable and non-potable lines. Where a line has no shutoff valve, Eddy specs and installs the right one.

  • 02

    Power outages

Battery backup keeps detection and shutoff running for up to 72 hours, and control units act locally so isolation does not depend on the cloud.

  • 03

    Your insurer's evidence file

Every shutoff is logged with a timestamp, giving carriers and lenders hard proof of loss control at renewal.

Inside a Control deployment

Shutoff sized to every line.

Isolation only helps where it sits. Eddy places control at each point that matters, from the street main to a single riser, with fire and sprinkler lines excluded by design.

  • Eddy IQ valve

    Shutoff

Combined meter and valve for DN20 to DN25 lines. Closes automatically the moment a rule fires.

  • Eddy Link

    Controller

Drives motorized valves up to 18 inches, on Eddy's own NSF61-rated valves or third-party valves already in place.

  • Water main shutoff

    Shutoff

Isolate the entire property at the point of entry, automatically on a rule or remotely on command.

  • Domestic zone isolation

    Shutoff

Shut a single riser or zone without taking the rest of the building offline.

  • Heating and cooling shutoff

    Shutoff

Isolate hydronic and make-up water loops, where a quiet leak does slow, expensive damage.

  • Temporary construction water

    Shutoff

Shut the temporary site supply after hours, the highest-risk window on an active build.

Eddy deployed during construction at Luskin Conference Center, Weyburn Housing and the CHS Medical Facility, then continued through operations. Roof-drain monitoring at CHS helped UCLA defer a major roof replacement until funding was available.
